Well i'm sure by now many people have flocked the theaters to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie On Stranger Tides; so it comes as no surprise that a Pirates of the Caribbean game was released in conjunction with the movie. Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game is a video game in the Lego video game franchise, developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Disney Interactive Studios. released in May 2011 to coincide with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the game is based on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and its storyline covers all four films. Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game will feature over 70 characters from the movie franchise. The game is available on the Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo DS, Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable.
I'm gonna be honest and say its not exactly the greatest game or the worst thankfully; its main appeal is obviously the hype from the movie franchise and the awesomeness that is Captain Jack Sparrow. Sadly however I feel it was not enough to make this game that noticeable unlike other Lego oriented games from the Harry Potter or Star Wars movie franchise, as the story and longevity of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise has not achieved similar greatness. As usual with most movie themed games the emphasis is to cash in on the hype of the film and this usually ends up in rushed game development and not much money put into the game to maixmise profits. All in all not a bad game aside from some platform issues when hopping around collecting stuff given the angle of the camera and character. If you are a fan of the series then you will enjoy reliving each one of the movies in Lego form but if you are just curious to play or wanting to check out a Lego themed game I would stay away from this one. I ended up playing this game pretty much solely for the fact that it's about Captain Jack Sparrow and I know there are others out there that like Captain Jack Sparrow as well...

i love jack sparrow but the game not so much oh well could been better.
well a good try being a fan of the movies up to 4 well maybe i wud try it jus out of curiosity bt nt feeling a crazy vibe frm it bt good job on puting it out there but ill stick more to the movies ty lol
