Assemble!!!!!

You should have already seen this coming; just casting some more light on the awesomness that is The Avengers movie. If you haven't heard or seen it I highly implore you to watch this movie as it is shaping up to be the biggest movie release of the year or maybe even this decade. Anyone growing up in the 80's and 90's should more than know these characters even if you are not a big comic geek like me and know all the bakcstories you should atleast have the general knowledge of each hero but for those rare and 'special' (yes like medically special) people heress the plot synopsis. Nick Fury is director of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency. The agency is a who's who of Marvel Super Heroes, with Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When global security is threatened by Loki and his cohorts, Nick Fury and his team will need all their powers to save the world from disaster.

Well I think it all speaks for yourself as the proof is in the pudding, or in this cash the money. We knew it would be big, but I don’t know that we knew it would be this big. The House of Mouse (Disney) has sent out a press release tabbing The Avengers‘ opening tally at a record shattering $200.3 million, the previous record holder was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which took in $169.2 million last July. Astonishing, astounding, amazing? You’re damn skippy, but the film’s total, domestic plus international take so far, that’s the real bombshell: $641.8 million. Right now, that makes The Avengers the 55th highest grossing film of all time. That means The Avengers has already beat the total take of Captain America,: The First Avenger, Thor, Iron Man, and Iron Man 2. That’s how all of this starts, the question is, where does it finish? With that said I will end today's blog and let you go off to bask in the glory that is the Avengers if you haven't already. I leave you with some stuff I saw on the internet that struck my fancy...
