Good Things Come In Threes

Gameplay - 7/10
Storyline - 10/10
Graphics - 7/10
Game Score : 24/30

If you like puzzle games or games of a horror nature then this game is for you. Coming from the high-end of the 2.5D point and click adventure spectrum, the Black Mirror series has secured a loyal following, with its beautiful visuals and absorbing story of dark deeds, murder, and the fate of the mysterious Gordon Family. Black Mirror III is seemingly the final chapter that answers all questions from the first two games and brings the series to a close.

Let me be the first to point out that if you are not into mental challenges or if you take offense to feeling stupid you may not want to play this game as it requires some portion of mental prowess. The player must seemingly wade through a wide variety of information and clues to discern what is needed to accomplish each task and progress through the game. Normally I tell people not to play games that have multiple installments without first playing the original but the story is so well written that it fills the user in on  various events of the past games as you play along. As you progress through the game you don't feel too much detachment from not know the full story from part one of the series as you are caught up to speed on most if not all events of the previous games.
After his escape into the woods, Darren Michaels/Adrian Gordon, one of the two main characters of both Black Mirror 2 and 3, stands with a burning torch in his hand, and turns to look back at the blaze engulfing Black Mirror Castle. Confusion reigns...Black Mirror 3 features a total of 62 different locations, some of which may be familiar to players of the original game, and all locations have a completely new graphical look. Feel free to check this game out if your curiosity is piqued; heres a free download link to a demo of the game courtesy of Zalgo Cometh...Give it a shot you just might end up getting hooked.
