Since this has been talked and examined to death already I am going to keep this short and sweet. Well, all in all it had to be pretty obvious that I was gonna have to say something about this considering how big a deal this is. Ten years; wow, I can barely remember where I was or who I was doing during the events of September 11th, can you? Yet the horrors that were visited upon the American people that day not only affected a great nation, it affected the world. I cannot even begin to imagine what the various Americans across the globe felt when it was confirmed that Osama Bin Laden was dead on Sunday May 1, 2011. Aside from the typical run-of-the-mill American, many families and friends of those directly affected by the events of that day most certainly must have felt an immense weight lifting off their backs. Just knowing that the person responsible for their pain and sorrow was finally brought to justice must have been one hell of an emotional roller-coaster ride.
No matter where your allegiance may lie we can all agree wholeheartedly that the world can breathe a collective sigh of relief now knowing that Osama Bin Laden is dead. Another chapter written in the annals of American history, now the question is what will happen next? Will this absence of for lack of a better term 'evil mastermind' seemingly give rise to an even greater threat to come? So many questions so little answers; I don't even want to get into all the conspiracy theories that people are going to concoct in the wake of all this happening. For now however let us bask in the happiness and satisfaction of knowing that there is one less evil bastard in the world; just like this guy is...
